Unfair - we have to pay

We have made several calls and requests to the supplier to no avail. In Feb 2013 we collected our vehicle booked well in advance after our Boat trip. We collected our car after waiting for quite some time and could then start our short holiday. We rented the car for Thursday21/02 - Saturday.23/02. We drove to our hotel to drop off luggage and then to the waterfront - at the waterfront the vehicle did not want to lock. We then drove off to another restaurant and once again struggled with the central locking - we returned to our hotel and phoned Avis to replace the car with another one - they could not send a car to us and we had to drive back to the branch after we wasted our 1st day of holiday to swop the car - it was just before closing time for the branch and they rushed to get the swop done. Already such a dissapointment - unlike the 1st car received our swopped car was never checked for scratches with us. On returning the car on the saturday we were informed of scratches on the car that was there already when we received it. These scratches were on the car in the 1st place and we now have to pay for it. After all the problems we already experienced and the bad service. Unhappy
