VW Strijdom Park-Polo 1.4 Trendline 2010-new spec

Cars & Transport

27Sep-My car was broken into at a secure Randburg complex-speedo instrument cluster & ECU were. I towed my car to VW at my own costs and was advised that the parts were from Germany & on back order of 2/3 weeks. All parts were delivered a month later! That was not the end-the speedo cluster was the incorrect stock & could not be installed. Few days later everything was miraculously in working order BUT there was a "coding issue" & the millage could not be set to 75000 only 7500! 30Oct -34 days later, still without a vehicle I was informed of a cylinder head compression fault that needed a further 2/3 weeks to fix. My car was 100% fine prior to the break-in but now I have to pay to fix a vault caused by VW. Service manager Andre Grobler told me that it is not their problem & would not provide a courtesy car & asked me to take the matter up with VW SA! The service is deplorable, no empathy towards a loyal customer. CPA rules do not seem to apply to VW. Can some executive look into the bad service investigate how my car engine could break down while parked at VW? Alternatively, provide me uninterrupted video footage of my car at your premises. To date this has cost me R5500.
