Still Waiting for my refund

I made a reservation for a rental which I cancelled approx. 2 days before because my trip got cancelled. I phoned the call centre to make the cancellation which was done and was told that the refund would take approx.7-10 days. After 10 days I did not receive my refund, I called the call centre again and they said that it was only cancelled and the refund not yet processed, I was then told it would take another 7-10 days for the credit card company to process. Its now approx 12 days later and I still don't have my refund, its a day before month end and now I to some how find the funds to cover the credit card statement!! Please can you just refund my money!!
