I'm into my third month renting with Avis and to be honest I am not a happy customer when it comes to customer service. It is not good to promise and not deliver period. Last week the car I was using had to taken in for service and I was given a replacement car similar to the one I drove. When I saw the car I indicated immediately that I was not happy with it and requested it to be changed. Worst of all it was not cleaned properly and the interior had a bad smell. At that time there was no similar car model available they and I was promised that as soon as they get a car they would call for a swap this was last week Thursday. I followed up again yesterday and a guy by the name Paul promised to get back to me by 13:30 he never did. I called again this morning and I could not get a response immediately instead the lady who answered promised that someone would call me once she's established who the person responsible was means there is no record of my request in the system to allow for anyone to deal with the query promptly. Now what irritates is the fact that this not the first time I have had to experience this bad service and each time I have to be the one following up.
