I took my vehicle in for a service and when I went to collect it they told me there was a noise in the engine. I had not noticed this noise before taking my car in, once I drove away the noise was extremely prominent. They told me in the 8 hour service they didn't have time to assess the problem and that I needed to bring the vehicle back the following Monday. With additional charges for labour. When I asked if the vehicle was safe to drive I was told they would never release a vehicle if it wasn't safe. The next night while driving on the highway the entire car burst into smoke, the engine seized and my steering wheel and break locked. There was no warning light, nothing. I nearly caused and was part of an accident. The vehicle was towed into the same branch that did my service. That was last Monday. I have still not been told what is wrong with my car. Considering they put my life at risk by letting me driving an unsafe car, I am sure they are looking for every possible way out of this situation. I am appalled. No one has made contact once, I have called time and time again to no avail. No indication of time line, no indication of problem, just "call back".
