I really regret accepting the cheapest quote. Pay peanuts get monkeys! I was notified that the account needed to be paid in full before they arrived on moving day. No problem. Except that I had to ask for the invoice 4 times! Moving day went as well as can be expected but as usual the staff expect to receive cooldrinks for their hard work (which they get paid for). The staff said that I must email the boss to say that we were very happy because they get a bonus - bit forward and cheeky I thought. The guys forgot a fridge and a few smaller items and said it was MY fault, do me a favour - dont they have eyes?! When the itinerary was originally taken the boss didnt put on the smallish safe and refused to move it. Subsequently cost an extra R1000 to move it. The boss said they never move safes but didnt see fit to tell me that when she first saw the safe. Think Consumer Protection Act here. There was no apparent supervisor during the move, just a bunch of guys doing whatever they wanted with no instruction or relationship management. And the attitude from the guys was even worse than the boss, no such thing as customer is always right in that business. They dont deserve to be in bus.
