Don't use Eezi Move!

I experienced terrible service from Eezi move. They dented and scratched both my fridges in multiple places and they also chipped my headboard. The minute the moving team arrived on our premises they started hinting for additional money. The headboard needed to be unscrewed and they said that costs extra. Then when there truck didn't fit in the main gate and they had to carry the furniture in a little further they said they would only do it if I paid them extra. So I had to pay them an additional R400 on top of the R4500 I had already paid.

The worst insult was when I complained to management they said I should have wrapped the furniture and the best they can do is give me 1 months free storage worth R480. The items that were damaged were valued at R40 000 and they are only compensating me with a pathetic R480.

I chose Eezi move thinking they are a large company and assumed this meant they would be more professional. My neighbour used a local small mover for her move at a fraction of the cost I paid and experienced good service.
