Ig on promise short on performance

We took our almost new sedan motor in for regular services to our regular 10 year plus mechanic. over time there was a slow drop in standards. metal glue on the window, grease marks on the seats and carpets, lights on that should be off (we were told not to worry), poor finishing, loss of performance, and always the mantra ''bring it back and i will sort'' WHAT ABOUT DOING THE JOB AS AGREED IN TIME??? this time after a service driving 15 kms to work and back the engine blew up and punched two holes in the engine block. One of the disco lights negligently left flashing after the service was the oil light, which we noticed to late...
We paid R 27 000 to fix his mistake which he made good, feeling real dumb, with our trust completely betrayed and used. only to have the car come back with climate control and air not working to be told we are fabricating issues. cost R 2995 plus. it is with great regret I lose a mechanic and a friend and warn you that this owner rarely checks the work off his floor with pride or serious attention.
