Arrow Tyres
Incompetent workmanship during fitting of shocks

Cars & Transport

I had new tyres fitted to my car a 2001 Toyota Corrola and was informed by Tasriq that my car needed new shocks, and that was the cause of the tyres wearing down so quickly. This was done on 5 July 2013. I soon afterwards had to take the car back so that Arrow Tyres could do the job over. The car was returned with oil marks all over the body works. 8 weeks later during a weekend away i experienced brake failure and took the car to a mechanic to have the brakes repaired. To my horror i had to discover that due to incompetant fitment of the shocks, Arrow Tyres did not secure the brake pipes properly. The pipes touched the tyres during normal driving, and therefore worn down very quickly. This brake failure cost me R2850 and was a frivolous expenditure, had Arrow Tyres fitted the shocks properly. They admitted liability but refused to compensate me for their poor and incompetent workmanship. The car had to go back to them 3 times before the brake pipes were properly fixed. Needless to say they lost a valued client.
