Speedy Tyre & Fitment
New shocks fitted and wheel alignment not correct

Cars & Transport

On the 15th of Dec 2012 we went to speedy to have the shocks on my opel corsa replaced, The shocks were replaced and wheel alignment was done. About a week later we started to notice the front tyres of my car were wearing down very fast, they were new tyres and hardly any mileage was done since replacing the shocks, it was obvious it had something to do with the wheel alignment that was done as this had only started after that was done. We were on holiday and were not able to come back to the branch until Jan the 19th, by then the two front tyres were badly damaged and had to be replaced, we complained about this at the vereeniging speedy branch, they took a look at the alignment again and said it was " a bit out" but not much and there is no guarantee on alignment. We went straight to another dealer who does tyres and alignment in Meyerton, replaced the tyres and re did alignment, we were then told the alignment was done incorrectly by the previous place which caused the damage to the tyres, this was then fixed for us, in the end costing us R1200.00 in total, this money is due back to us this was their neglegence, the owner was also rude once we had complained, he didnt help at all
