Why pay for a service and not getting any benefit

I took my car for its 90 000 Km service. I informed them that the clutch is slipping when I gear down to overtake. My car is only is only 28 months old and I took out a service contract when I bought it.
Service history, apart from the normal filters and plugs nothing was replaced on all services till 60 000Km service when the wiper blades were replaced. At the 75 000Km service the break pads were replaced for the first time and I replaced the 4 tyres at 91 385km.
The reason for explaining the history is that I was informed by Renault Tokai that the clutch is slipping when the car is put under labour. There will be a cost of R3990.00 involved in stripping the clutch for the powers to be to come and access the damage. The cost of a new clutch will be R11000.00 which I will have to pay should the damage be considered bad driving. There will be a waiting time of two weeks for the clutch to arrive and be replaced.
I am a rep as can be seen on the milage I do, I can not afford to be without my car for such a long period and further more I took out a service plan that is suppose to cover these type of events.
