New Vaal Motors
No pre-delivery inspection conducted on new Jeep

Cars & Transport

A new JEEP Wrangler Sahara 2DR was purchased from New Vaal Motors Vereeniging and ownership was taken on 24 December 2012. New Vaal Motors has advised that it has conducted a pre-delivery inspection of the vehicle and it has not detected any material defects. It was subsequently determined that no pre-delivery inspection was conducted on the vehicle and is still not conducted as of today 28 Jan 2013. They are apparently waiting for sensors that are on order. The following was missing: 1) No owners manual and service documents; 2) No spare keys; 3) No triangles; 4) No soft top and accessories; 5) No clip on hand straps; 6) No sigaret lighter in socket; 7) Warning light on instrument panel stay on.
The missing items were received drips and draps over at least 5 visits to the dealer. The soft top was the last to be received only to found out that it was the wrong one. It was for a 4 door Jeep and not the 2 door.
The workshop checked the warning light on two seperate occations. Instruction was to drive it at constant speed for 15km - no change. 2nd time it was found that wheel sensors were missing and will be ordered. Waiting paitently for feedback from New Vaal. No returning calls.
