I placed an order for an A180 on 17/05/13 and was assured only the best of customer care.
On the same date I also paid a deposit on the vehicle.
On 16 October, after 4 months of not being phoned back after I was assured I would, I drove to New Vaal Motors to find out what the situation was regarding my vehicle, since I could not get hold of the sales rep over the phone.
Upon my arrival I was told that my car had not been ordered yet and that on September 1st there was a price increase of -R40 000 and that I am now obligated to pay the increase.
I phoned the head office of Mercedes Benz and was assured the matter would be resolved - it is still not.
The sales manager of New Vaal Motors also assured me via telephone that he would sort the mess out and I might receive the vehicle by the end of November - I still have not received feedback from him.
