Shoes and refusal to make payment

I reported that my shoes were left in a hired vehicle, when the agent on duty advised that they were found and they would be kept for my representative to collect.

when my representative went to collect the shoes, an agent told him that they could not be found.
I made countless calls, where agents promised to call me back with a solution.
I waited 2 weeks, and eventually received a mail from a manager promising to reimburse me for the shoes.

I accepted this offer, supplied my banking details, and even provided a quotation for the Aldo shoes which cost R1200.00.

After 3 emails and another week later, I receive a call where an agent advised that they will not be paying into my account, they will only deposit into my credit card.
At this stage, after and broken promises, I refuse to give my credit card details at the risk of more of my possessions being, the representative advised me that this is the only way I will be refunded.

I have never experienced such substandard service, not to mention the fact that I had to have the vehicle I hired exchanged because it had not been cleaned.
Should I not be assisted TODAY, I will take this matter further.
