I rented a vehicle from Europcar 24/10/2013. I changed from my high heels to ballerina flats and put my heels on the back seat of the rental. In my haste to make check-in on time, I completely forgot my shoes in the car. When I realised my mistake, I phoned Europcar at 19:00 (I had to board at 19:30) and told them what had happened. Initially the gentleman was very helpful and advised that they would have a look in the car and get back to me. He phoned in less than 5 minutes and advised that there were no shoes in the car. I advised him that I definitely don't have them and that I had left them on the back seat of the car. He insisted that they checked and there were no shoes. I became a bit annoyed as they are R1000 pair of Aldo shoes and it meant that someone had taken them. The gentleman then proceeded to insist that I am mistaken and went so far as to ask me whether I'm sure I wore high heels. The absolute cheek. Once I landed back in JHB, I phoned again and spoke to someone at Europcar who took my details and advised that CT Europcar would phone me by 09:00. It's 11:18 am and still no call. So no shoes and not a care in the world from Europcar. Thanks
