I woke to the cry of a wild business cell this morning. Sanely deciding any client calling at 10 past six am could call back later, I left it go.
A shower later, there were 4 more frantic calls to my cell. Then my landline went off.
Given it was out of working hours, the caller *clearly* had a vital message and the landline'o'doom was now being invoked, I presumed this was, as you'd expect, family news. The sort that can't wait. Heart heavy, I answered my phone...
To your bumbling -head call center asking if they could deliver a parcel today [which arrived after 1pm, yo! ]
Takealot had, fwiw, ALREADY indicated it would be delivered today, so yeah- I knew, thanks. A couple of flash drives were NOT so vital to my world I needed to know their whereabouts at that hour of the morning. Only one's kids rate that concern.
What on this EARTH are you thinking? A courtesy call is a nice thought, but in working hours please!!! This could have been done at close of business yesterday if its a standard procedure. Get a grip and get organized. Or at least wait til *after* the 2nd coffee of the day. Not impressed!
