Nissan South Africa
NO PARTS AVAILABLE FOR KNOWN FAULT

Cars & Transport

I bought a Nissan Juke. The clutch failed at 35 000km. Which is REALLY bad to begin with. As it currently stands, my car has been at the dealer for 3 weeks and Nissan still is unable to tell me when the parts will be available. They first said 30th of August - which is a whole MONTH to wait for parts - but now they're not even sure about that anymore. The call centre staff are rude and defensive and poorly trained.

I was given a courtesy car by the dealer - only after I made a huge fuss mind you. However, everyday I drive the courtesy car, it costs me money for petrol that I would not have had to spend had my car not been standing. I live far from work and spend time out of the office, so Nissan's inability to provide parts is costing me almost R1 000 a week that I cannot afford. My work petrol card is linked to my Juke and I cannot claim the money back that I spend while driving another vehicle. This is frustrating me beyond understanding.

I find this UNACCEPTABLE service. I feel like I want to find myself another brand of car and NEVER have anything to do with Nissan ever again. I am shocked and saddened - I cannot believe that this is how they treat their customers.
