OUT OF WARRANTY

Had my Fiat Strada Working 1.4 in for a 40000/2YR service, with a few things to sort out.

When I phoned and followed up, there was told that non of the things that is on the list, is covered as it is out of warranty, in the third year of the warranty BY ONLY 13DAYS. keep in mind it has a three year (which now seems to be a limited) warranty.

The complete front brake system needs to be replaced, on 32000km, as, according to the workshop is "normal wear and tear" Apon quering it, and trying to get answers, I ended up just getting the car serviced. When I picked up the car, the service assistant said that due to certain components in the pads, it wears more quickly into the disk, thus my argument, this was poor products used, and should be replaced under the warranty.

The back light unit also is getting water in, no damage nothing, and again, due it it being "out of warranty I have to replace it. Same as with the cigarette lighter. impossible for something this big to just go wrong in 13days!

To top it off, the gearbox have to be stripped and sent in to see if a fault on it that causes a grinding noice is covered by the warranty, and they need the car for 2 weeks.

Pathetic!
