I recently went to Woodmead Auto Tech and was charged an exorbitant amount of money for diagnostics, parts and labour for a small job on my car.

All that was done was a diagnostic to check why my car was starting in the morning and then Goolam (owner) advised that the sensors needs to be changed. he advised that the prices was high because the sensors were original.

Diagnostics - R400
Temp Sensor and knock sensor - R1350

In total I spent R1750 and the problem is still there even after the sensors were replaced.

I currently have the car at another mechanic and they have advised that pirate parts were used and could be the problem.
