I bought the brand new Polo GTI and I noticed that after 2 weeks it had a flat spot on take off. I took it to the dealer and reported it and continued reporting it, they told me "monitor it", it broke down after 4 and a half months. The diagnosis, the entire supercharger component has to be replaced and I will get it back in approx.18 days. How can this happen on a brand new car? The service manager (Tony da Silva) said "wear and tear". They booked my car in and gave me a loan car that was brand new. The next morning, the loan car which only had 100km on the clock, broke down! We had to wait 1 and a half hours to get towed to the dealer, where the service manager (Tony da Silva) did not acknowledge that we were inconvenienced and had to endure the stress of breaking down and not getting to work. He showed no empathy and offered no apology. His mechanic admitted to the car having an engine malfunction but Tony later that day told me that there was nothing wrong with the car and that he was driving it. These people don't believe in the so called "VW Family" and it's questionable that they represent this brand. A disgusting display of pathetic customer service and after sales care!
