CAR DAMAGED UNDER BOSCH WOODMEAD

We had booked a car in for repairs on suspension. The car has never given us a problem before when starting the car. The car was arranged to be dropped off on the 18-07-2013 and was supposed to be picked up the same day. When we went to fetch the car on Thursday afternoon, the car couldn't start. We gave the guys a chance to fix the car and we can fetch it on Friday. The car still wasn't fixed. We gave them Saturday to fix the car and he still couldn't get the car right. On Monday the 22-07-2013 approached the dealer for feedback on what can be done moving forward. He insisted that he is not to be blamed for the car damaged under his care. We called police to also be there to witness the whole incident. The agreement was reached with the dealer that we give them one last chance to fix the car. He has phoned us confirming that he now knows what the problem is with the car not starting, and that we must pay R3000 for the part. The car was damaged under his care and now he wants us to pay for damages caused by him. He refuses to release our vehicle so we can move it to Renault so they can check what the problem is. My question now is where to from here??
