Our family's safety is put in the hands of people who portray themselves to have the expertise and experience to service vehicles.
We knew that we skipped on services it was a year and 4months since the last full service that's why we took the car to be screened and serviced in order to have a mechanically sound and safe vehicle Feb 2013. Once screened we were issued with a detailed quote for repairs from the windscreen wipers, door rubbers and brake pads. Quote R39, 962.10 by the way R19, 000 was done before we accepted the quote. With no vehicle, we gave them the go ahead. All listed apart from the minors.
We paid and we were assured our car is now mechanically sound.
On July 4 car broke down again this time the cam belt broke. Service manager Danie informed us it was supposed to have been replaced on120, 000km's. According to him our car's service records are on their system. With 135, 000 km's on the clock, we asked, why this not picked up or specified on the quote a month before? From Natasha we only got and false promises. Owner Johan Terblanche, is not taking responsibility. Between being too busy, parts not arriving, and false promises. The quote R30, 930.35. Who's responsible
