Stephan Smith Mechanic
Swore and threatened after customer complaint

I took my BMW for repairs at Stephan Smith. The repairs were not done properly as I was still experiencing the same problem. I got a written report from a reputable second mechanic a few months later stating that the problem was still there. When returning to Stephan he had a bad attitude. He said he would call back and let me know what he would do about it, but he took his time and when I phoned a few times to follow up he kept forgetting who I was. So loosing my patience I questioned why I had to keep reminding him of who I was and what the issue was. His immediate response was to start swearing at me and threatening and challenging me to come to his workshop so that he could show me what he will do to me, inferring that if I come there he will assault me. He further stated that he will return my money but I must just dare to come and collect it. I have this conversation recorded so I can prove everything I'm saying. He was also recently sued by BMW for posing as a BMW specialist. He obviously has no real qualifications as he couldn't do a simply job properly and when he gets come backs he doesn't know how to handle it or even treat customers with respect after taking their money
