My car overheated and was booked in with the mechanic, when he was ready
with the quotation, I called Motorite and they asked that the mechanic fax
through the diagnosis and quotation which he did, Motorite then could not
give me an indication of how long they would take to payout and the
mechanic doesn't want a car standing in his workshop, he wants to get done
so he can use the work bay on the next car but more importantly I need my
car, so the mechanic carried out the repair and I had to pay the next day
because the my claim was rejected due to the work being carried out without
authorization. For something thats supposed to be authorized
undoubtfully, thats a real low blow, you might as well have hacked into
my online banking and my money, shame on you. I was with SA
Warranties and they always paid out at the same mechanic no questions
asked, all they needed was a quotation, please resolve this as soon as
possible, don't do this to your customers, we work hard for our money and we
take out policies to ensure we don't get hit by high repair costs, imagine
how it feels to have spent thousands on a policy and then still having to
pay thousands on repairs.
