Cars & Transport

I bought a Hyundai I10 which is just over 8 months old with 9, 266km on the clock.

The car refused to start one morning and I had to call Hyundai who called a tow truck to collect the car.

On the day the dealership received the car, they told me they would look at it the next day as they were fully booked.

The second day, I called them to find out if they found out what was wrong with the car, they told me they were still busy with it and would get back to me.

Later on that day, they called me saying they can't find a problem with the car but the car is now working. I asked if the car was starting when the car arrived there they said no.

They wanted to keep the car another day to make sure everything was fine.

I call in the next day and they say they can't find what the problem was and I must pay R969.00 for towing costs cause they can't determine whether it was an in warranty defect or not.

I am finding this hard to accept cause they can't find what the problem was now it's my problem.

I researched incidents where people had a problem starting there Hyundai I10 and I am clearly not the first one experiencing this problem.

Very disappointed!
