Unhappy with Hyundai Service

Cars & Transport

I bought a brand new Hyundai Accent 1.6 in May 2013 and the only added extra I asked for on the car was the anti-hijacking film to be placed on the windows.

Recently my car alarm has been going off intermittently and I assumed it was a wire that had come loose so I took it to the Bryanston dealership to have it repaired. I was told at 5pm when I collected the car that there was an "after sales product" fitted to my car which made the noise indicating the car was being locked and unlocked as "Hyundai cars don't come with a noise when the alarm is activated / deactivated".

My complaint is firstly why was this part attached to my car when I bought it without me being told it was and secondly why did the woman in Bryanston not call me to tell me this sooner than 5pm when I arrived.

I now have to contact the Bedfordview dealership to find out how to get this matter sorted when it should not even be on my car as I never asked for it be.

My car is still under warranty and why could the Bryanston Branch not call me to tell me about the "after sales product" and to find out where I bought the car and then call the people at that dealership to sort the problem out?
