This would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

I got a flat today so I called a few (3) suppliers.

I wanted tyres, balancing and wheel alignment. For each supplier I worked out the cost of 1 tyre and wheel alignment or 2 tyres with wheel alignment and came up with an average per tyre. Pitstop came up as an average of R670 per tyre as the cheapest tyre is R790 and the wheel alignment is R240. (Sun Valley Fitment Centre ave of R501 despite the coast of the actual tyre being R100 more than Tiger Wheel and Tyre who charge for balancing ave R571)

When I said it seems like you are quite a lot more expensive than other suppliers as I did my sums - "is that the kind of feedback you want? " She said no, because that is the price the boss sets. I managing to hold the laughter in until I had hung up. Seriously?
