Diagnosis fee of Morningside BMW vs. other BMW's

Kunene Brothers Morningside BMW charges a diagnosis fee of ~R1, 500 (going up to R1, 800) while other dealerships in the area charge a fee of ~R850.

Morningside BMW only informed me of this fee when I left my car there and did not give me any advanced warning to enable sufficient time to query the fee from other dealers.
