Nokia Lumia stopped working

Bought through my upgrade 28 December 2012. There seemed to be a few non response to calls, people could not hear me, People left messages but when I tried to pick up messages just a garbled message in background. BUT on the 27 January 2013 the phone would not TURN ON. Went to MTN MOrningside, the consultant not very client friendly, moaned that I should have gone to Sandton Branch. She took it in and said it would be sent tot he Repairs Warranty office. Called Repairs 31 Jan. to be told they were waiting further documents, phoned 4 Feb again to be told the papers from Morningside had not arrived. Went to Morningside, Odette (the consultant said she had sent papers) She sent them again, I have a copy of email. Called 7th Feb. and still nothing has happened. I am paying for an expensive solution I do not have and the attitude airy fairy. I have signed a further 2 years contract please help.
