Volvo
Failure to deliver the vehicle to the right owne

Cars & Transport

I went to Volvo at the East Rand on the 7th of May 2013 to look for a car to buy.

I duly found a Volvo C70 on the 7th of May 2013, which I decided to buy. I was told the car is available, if approved for finance I could have it. I signed all the papers including the "ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF DELIVERY" on the same day, which I thought meant I could have the car the same day. when I was not handed the keys after signing all the papers I thought I was going to receive a call to say to come over to pick up the car.

when I did not receive the call I relaxed thinking my application was probably not approved by the bank... I was surprised and suspicious when I heard the guy who accompanied me when I went to buy the car was driving around in a new Volvo similar to the one I had applied to purchase. This to me raised some curiosity. I decided to go to the dealer to find out what had transpired with my application... I was shocked when the dealer said they had delivered my car to the friend who accompanied me to purchase the car. The dealer was unmoved to the point of not caring when I wanted to find out why they had delivered my car to this person?
