International Move

Intertrans was recommended to me for moving of goods from SA to the UK. I met with their rep whilst back in SA in December and was provided with a quote. There was no explanation of any options and I was of the impression that once they had packed my stuff I would receive it in the UK within a reasonable timeframe i.e. 2 months. Maybe I was a bit naive! It is now the 5th July and my belongings still have not left SA. They were packed up by Intertrans in mid March!!! I realise it was only a partial container but I was not provided with any info regarding timeframes. I have e mailed them on numerous occasions to try and establish what is going on and have spoken to Mickey Moodley, Alan Hughes (I think) and Michelle but am being led up the garden path. I have asked for an official inventory but have only received a hand written one done when they packed my belongings. I also asked how long from time of docking till it is delivered - no response. I am moving in mid august and am at a loss as to whether my belongings will be here before I move.

In general the service and feedback from Intertrans has been absolutely disgusting and would advise anyone to avoid using them.
