Nissan South Africa
Nissan Springs ripping clients off on parts

Cars & Transport

Nissan Springs charged my girlfriend R1750 excl .vat each for two Shock/ Strut bearings it took them 6 months to get the parts when I checked the vehicle and took it to another dealer and to Supaquick both parties told me these parts do not need to be changed.

I then phoned two other Nissan dealers and both of these dealers quoted me R631.53 excl. vat each for the parts so the Nissan springs dealer has decided to over charge us by R2500 incl. vat. in total on two parts that didn't even need to be changed.

And to make things worse when I asked to see the parts they were not in the parts storeroom and the service manager kept insisting they should have been fitted and are probably on the car so I asked them to show me how it was fitted as there not even tool marks on any of the bolts or nuts so couldn't have been fitted. He then "magically" remembered that he saw it laying in one of his service technicians tool boxes??? The same tool box that gets taken home??

After several hours of going back and forth they have agreed to refund us but are now taking their time to pay us. How many other clients are being overcharged and charged for Unnecessary parts which are not even fitted
