Appalling Service

Cars & Transport

I purchased a new Chev Orlando at end of Oct 2012. When I received the car the following faults had to be fixed: Speedometer & odometer not working, a fuse had to be replaced for the engine light on the dash to go off and a new window switch had to be put in as the electric windows were not working properly. I then realised that the spare key did not work and it had to be coded - this did not work so a new key was ordered. I took my car for its first service (at Imperial GM BFN) in March 2013, and was told I had to pay because it was out of warranty. This was because it was registered as a 2011 vehicle by the dealer (Barloworld Bruma) and it had not been serviced in 2012. After being assured by the sales person from Bruma that I do own a 2012 car, the GM warranty system still reflected the date as 2011. I then contacted GM Customer service and lodged a complaint.(This issue has still not been resolved.) Upon fetching my vehicle from the service the side mirror was scratched. I then took the car back as the other side mirror was not functioning correctly. Today, upon my 3rd visit to Imperial GM (BFN) regarding the mirror (which is still faulty), the car is once again scratched!
