Hello,
I am extremely disappointed in services which are provided by DHL Cape Town Warehouse. They are holding my parcel, worth R10.000, because they need an SOUTH AFRICAN ID no. for custom purposes. I am a Polish citizen, so I can NOT provide them with such a number. A DHL employee Felicia Franz refuses do give me an other option as for an non-south african citizen. Also she doesn't answer her phone and emails. In my opinion this is lack of flexibility and professionalism. I provided our income tax number, but the DHL stuff does not know what to do with it...
The parcel, which is stopped at DHL Ware House contents very important study books for my course from Canadian university. Additionally I need them asap to meet my deadline. In case of delay, an extension at my university costs me another R6.000.
My husband also experienced very poor service in Cape Town office. I think, the image of DHL in this city is getting worse and worse. Incompetent staff - a big worry!
