My Nissan Qashqai has had a problem with the safety belt stalk, it went in for a service in mid March 2013, I was told they will order the stalk on warranty and call me within a few days to schedule a fitment of the defect part.
On the 1st day of May 2013, I called Nissan as I had not heard anything, I was told by the Service Manager Leon that he would call me back on the 15/05/2013 as the part would be in stock by then, 15/05/2013 went by no response, I then called in the first week of June and left a message for him to call me back, no call back...
My wife called on 7/06/2013 and spoke to the dealer principal who said he was in training Monday but would call her on the 10/06/2013, no call again, I called Nissan again yesterday and spoke to Leon who said I should bring the car in and he would replace the part, no apology or excuse for never before calling me back.
Part replaced and assured problem was resolved 2 1/2 hours later, guess what problem still there.. Actually had no strength to pursue this further on the day, I told them to wait till next service. problem still exists, my wife tells DP his Aftersales service, apparently this is very bad language...
