BMW South Africa
Car not serviced properly

Cars & Transport

O I drive a BMW 118i, which I purchased on 1 February 2012 from BMW South East Auto
o On 25 March 2013, I took my car for a routine service at BMW South East Auto.
o On the afternoon of 25 March, I collected my car from South East Auto after the service was performed. On my way home that afternoon I got a warning message on the car stating that the coolant levels were too low. Within a couple of minutes from the first warning, the warning changed and stated that my engine was overheating. At this stage my car stopped itself.
o I then took my car back to BMW SE Auto where their technicians checked my car and said that during the service they had replaced my coolant container and this was not fitted properly and as a result the coolant leaked resulting in the overheating.
o Since this date my car has had this same problem on 2 more occations on 17 April and 16 May and it appears to me my car has been damaged beyond repair. I reported this matter to BMW Head Office (On 17 May) and got no response.
o As a result I do not want this car anymore and demand a new car from BMW as the car I am driving now is not the same as the one that I bought.
