After resurching the internet for a reasonable price to overhaul our Isuzu KB280 engine, we came accross a company called "The Engine Man". After over a month, and what was promised four days, we recieved an engine back that was supposebly "overhauled". We paid the R11800.00 in full and proceeded to have the engine put back. The engine was not functioning. On further inspection and after having to strip the motor again to check why the engine was not working we discovered the engine was not even our original engine. Mr. Leon Brown has avoided our calls and is refusing to fix the engine nor take responsibility for the block being swapped out. I strongly recommend you DO NOT pay any money upfront and to double check your engine number before and after your engine returns from this place. We have have taken the necessary steps to ensure justice is done but just to warn other consumers our there that this is NOT the place to do business.
