VW = Disappointment!

Bought a Vivo Mastercar 4 MONTHS ago at The Glen VW (TG). Asked & made sure the vehicle was not involved in an accident and that everything was on par and I was assured it was. Steering wheel started giving problems so I went to VW Hatfield. Was told that they would get someone to help me-after 20min with NO help, I went to VW Silver Oaks (SO). Service here was good, but what followed is the main complaint. Got a call from SO after the car was booked in (Wednesday). There was a problem with the steering rack and power steering pump and would cost R30K to fix. No problem, cause the car is under warranty right-WRONG! Was told by SO the car was involved in an accident as they saw overspray on the bumpers en spring coils at the shocks, THUS warranty does not cover the repairs! Called TG immediately whom told me that the car was NOT in an accident. Two branches-different stories! TG wanted ME to take the car to them form PTA - JHB.Refused as it might cause further damage as well as the risk om someone driving into me. Asked them to collect it and inspect with SO.Nothing transpired! Called Head Office Friday-STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY!!! Been almost a week with no car or transport! Absolutely Shocking!!!
