I took in my VW Polo TDI on the morning of the 31st May 2013 for a recurring diesel particle filter light annnunciation. I was very aggrevated because this would be the fourth time the car goes in for the same problem. Each time the light is reset and car given back. I was informed by the technicians that I should drive the car in third gear on the highway at - 100kmph at 3000rpm untill the light clears itself. This was attempted several times, at a substantial rise in fuel consumption, but did not fix the problem. I was informed by Mathew (Service Manager) that my car would be sorted out soon once and for all and that he would inform me of the progress. This did not happen as I had to call in to find out what the progress was and apparently, power was just restored to my car so they could have a look at it. I expressed my need for a loan car due to my shift work, and thus causing me great difficulty to get to work. Mathew said that he would sort it out and I would surely have a car that day (2013-06-01). But that was not the case. He didnt arrange a loan car for me and I had to borrow my neighbours car to get to work the next day (sunday). I eventually contacted the dealer manage
