Not interested in selling cars in this economy?

Have tried for over a week now to get a quote for a new Mercedes at the Sandton and Bryanston branches. I told the agents that it was important to me to finalise a deal before the end of the month.

First I was quoted a trade in value on my BMW, and the next morning I was called and told the value is R80 000 less than what they quoted. Have been waiting all week for Thato from Sandton to come back with quotes. In exasperation I went to Bryanston branch today and was promised a quote within an hour. It is now 8 hours later and no quote. WHen I called back I am told the systems are slow.

These guys are really not interested in actually selling a car to a customer who wants to fork out over half a million rand. Is business really that you can afford to be arrogant with your customers? Or are you stringing me along and then you will say that my trade in value has dropped because it is a new month tomorrow?
