Innovation Group
Maintenance Plan

Business & Finance

My 2009 Ford Bantam was taken in to Consolidated Auto to have work done on it. One of the things they had to look at was the brakes of the vehicle. The dealer informed me that the front bake pads would not last until the next service. Being a safety item I instructed the dealer to contact Innovation Group as I have a maintenance plan on said vehicle.
I was informed on the 08/03/2013 by the dealer that Innovation Group had declined the replacement of the brake pads. The dealer was asked to do a parts claim on the brake pads. Chris was informed that this could not be done as the brake pads were older than a year (Ford parts warranty 12 months).
WHY DOES ONE BUY A MAINTENANCE PLAN??
If Chris Joubert (manager) had taken the time and effort to look on the system he would have noted that the brake pads were older than a year. Does Innovation Group want me to drive like this please let me know.
I use this vehicle for my business and can not afford that it goes to the dealer when Innovation wants it to go. The vehicle is used to transport products in excess of 250kgs at a time, I can not afford to worry about brake pads that might pack up on the way back from Vaalwater with a load..
