BAD ATTITUDE / UNPROFESHIONAL - SPEED FINE

Cars & Transport

I received a speed fine to the value of R400. Upon investigation I realized my vehicle went in for a service to Fury Honda & Suzuki on the 19/04/2013. I called the service advisor Orisha, established that my car was in their possession at the time of the fine. I was a little upset as to the fact that she was insisting that Mr Maxfarlane only test drove the car around the block, said he was nowhere near were the fine was obtained. But my car was in your possession all day so u are liable to pay the fine. Eventually she agreed she is liable. I told her that I was not happy with this and I might consider taking my car else where in the future. She said I am welcome to do that. Wow, is this customer service??? Shouldnt she have appologised for the incident, taken responsibility and tried to retain the customer. Whatever happened to the customer is always right. Her attitude is deplorable. People dealing with customers on a first hand basis should be trained accordingly, should be professional. Seems the service standards have been lowered or non existant in some cases. The harsh reality is that we now have to deal with people like this. Its actually quite sad.
