My car went in for a normal service, but I asked them to check some noise when the car was in neutral sometimes. Little did I know that this exercise was going to cost me 7 days without a car, I had to pay labour cost for checking the sound and when I got it back it was worse than the time when I took it to them. When I took the car in all gears were working, but when I got it back I struggle to put the gear into 3 and 4. I didn't have this problem before they took my car. I then took the car back and they gave me a lame technical reason why this was happening and that they suggested to me that I should replace the box. I wasn't ready to replace the box yet so I asked them to put it back. They did put it back, but with these issues so I am convinced that the gearbox in my car is not my original gearbox. I cannot prove this because I am not a mechanic but I can feel it when I drive the car that this is not the same box. I feel that I cannot trust Toyota and their staff because I ended up paying for a car that is worse off now than it was when I took to them.
