Ford Fury
UNDAMAGED GEARBOX QUOTATED FOR R10 000 - R15000

I took my car to Fourways Fury located on Witkoppen and Douglas Drive.

Brought car in for 3 reasons. 2 minor issues regarding lights and side skirts and a Major issue being trouble with changing gears on gearbox.

I was told that the Gearbox apparently has serious issues which will cost in the region of R10K - R15K after re-engineering is done

After collecting my car I Left ford and drove /- 45 mins and my gears were completely disengaged.

I Organised a tow truck and got a mechanic to check, and discovered a lose bolt/ that connects to the gearbox which was causing the gears to be unstable.

He took max 2 hours at night working with a small torch light to sort out the gearbox. He Did not replace anything and the car gears are now working perfectly.

I aim on using using every available avenue to warn as many people as possible, even if I only manage to divert one client from Ford I would have saved someone out there heartache and on top of a lot of savings.

I actually wonder if anyone really did check my gearbox?!

I explained this to the service consultant named Michael and he promised the service manager would call me but that hasn't happened
