Disgraceful service: passing the buck

My gearbox broke on 4 August. Gearbox was replaced with a gearbox i supplied. The owner confirmed that they will be able to make small adjustments in order to for the gearbox to fit, due to the gearbox being a newer model.
I collected the car at the end of September. Drove it for a week, due to 3 oil leaks I took it back to them to fix. They confirmed that they are waiting for parts from Toyota SA. Parts were due to arrive on 17 November. Theo said they couldn't get parts as Toyota SA doesn't have the correct parts, as they ordered from my VIN no, and the gearbox doesn't correspond with the gearbox on the system. They replaced the seal with a similar seal and asked me to collect the car on Monday 9 December. The car is leaking more oil than previously.
On friday i was told: "i don't have time to drive around looking for parts for your car"
The last comment when I collected the car were: im not going to phone you when the parts arive, i am finished with your car.
Toyota SA confirmed today that there is NO record of parts being ordered on my VIN number. So why the did my car have to stand there for 2 months, waiting for parts that were never ordered???
