INCORRECT INFORMATION REGARDING WARRANTY

Incorrect information given to me by the Service Advisor regarding the re-instatement of the warranty on my vehicle, Ford Figo. The Service Advisor informed my that the warranty cannot be re-instated (I have missed the first service due to incomplete information provided by the sales person and the vehicle's stearing rack packed up on 17 000km) as he already cleared it out with Head Office. I needed to sort out the problem with the warranty with the dealership where I bought the vehicle (IPOP Suzuku JHB South). On consulting with Ford Motor Company it is clear that the service advisor did not give me the correct information as the warranty could have been re-instated if the vehicle was repaired and serviced by a Ford Dealer. If the correct information was relayed to me, the vehicle would have been repaired by a Ford Dealer in order for the warranty to be re-instated. The service advisor however gave me the incorrect/wrong information thus resulting in the warranty and service plan not to be re-instated. The matter was even taken up with Mr Willie Vos who said that he will take it up with management so that the correct information will be relayed to customers in future.???
