Breakages and loss of items

I send boxes of fragile products, as explained with my previous complaint. I have accepted minor breakages in the past, but complained on Hello Peter when the amount of breakages became unacceptable. During that time, another shipment was sent. One month later, I learnt that my customer received only 12 boxes of jam when I sent 15 boxes with Sun Couriers. I was never informed by Sun Couriers of this loss, nor did I receive any photographic evidence of breakage. When I inquired about it, customer services investigated and found that one box of jam (24 jars) is missing and two boxes of jam were totally broken. Again the optional insurance matter was mentioned, which I would understand if one or two jars were broken once in a while. This is a big loss for my small company. Surely some responsibility must be accepted by Sun Couriers in this matter. 3 Boxes cannot simply be shrugged off. My compliant is therefore about not being notified of any losses with that consignment and the fact that 2 boxes of jam breakage is excessive and the unexplained loss of another box is suspicious. There must be a limit to the amount of loss with such a service that is acceptable.
