Closing shop and turning customers away before tim

I walked into Nandos at Alberton City mall (011907-4377) to order chicken. The time was 18:35, I was told that they are out of chicken and all staff were hanging around the kitchen area. I then enquired about closing time and they said 19:00. I thought something was odd, I jumped into my car and called the same place to place an order and they miraculously now have chicken after they turned me away and this is within 2 minutes.

This leads me to believe that staff are closing shop early to go home and turning people away, they only took my order over the phone because they did not know who they were dealing with.

What gets to me is that the very same cashier (Yoliswa) that turned me away is the same person that took my order over the phone and when I ask why they now miraculously have chicken and her response is that they were still cooking when I walked in. I did mention to the lady that I was not happy and would report the matter.

Please bring this to the attention of the franchise owner.

If its important my order number was 4763 and it was recorded on the till for payment at 19:02.
