Nandos
30 Mins for Order of Strips and rice

We went to Nandos just after 12 to buy lunch. The shop was busy - especially with people placing large office orders. The wait in the queue was not to long and my order was taken professionally.

I then experienced the following:
1) In general the kitchen / shop could not cope with the influx of orders.
2) The people on the pass seemed to randomly complete orders (again not coping).
3) Strips and rice is ALWAYS very slow to come out of the kitchen (I've experienced this on a number of occasions).
3) My colleague also ordered Strips and Rice - he was one order in front of me, and got his his order a long time be for me.
4) Someone else who also ordered Strips and Rice and whose order was 20 places after me, ALSO received his food before me

I then lost my patience and spoke to the manager (who was not really helping at all in general) and I finally manage to get food.

In my opinion, Nandos food is usually good value for money, tasty and fairly healthy. But this particular branch is not coping with lunchtime pressure.

Maybe big orders should only be accepted via telephone and be fulfilled before 12 or after 1 (or property scheduled) as not to interfere with walk-ins?
