Saturday decided to order Nando's. at 18:00 exactly I placed the order. At 18:52 I called enquiring why it is taking so long. Stated driver has already left. Called again at 19:32 - 19:50, eventually getting through (something wrong with the branches line, as I could hear them, although they could not hear me) to have the person tell me it is on its way. Requested to speak to the manager, as due to it being almost 2 hours late, I can assure him it will be cold and I will not pay for it. He assured me I do not need to pay for the food. He said the drivers vehicle broke down. The food arrived a few minutes later and I did not pay for it. Yes, the food was cold and although I heated it up, it did not taste as it should. If the manager had just called us to explain the issue, this could have been avoided. Bad customer service.
